PDF Size Reducer provides browser-based PDF processing tools including, but not limited to: PDF merging, PDF splitting, PDF compression, and image-to-PDF conversion. The Service is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis, free of charge, with no guarantee of uninterrupted availability.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including for maintenance, security, or business reasons. We are not liable to you or any third party for any such modification, suspension, or discontinuation.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use PDF Size Reducer. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent and warrant that you are authorised to bind that organisation to these Terms.

4. Your Content and Uploaded Files

4.1 Ownership

You retain full ownership of all documents and files you upload to PDF Size Reducer ("Your Content"). We claim no ownership or intellectual property rights over your files.

4.2 Your Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the files you upload. By uploading a file, you represent and warrant that:

• You own the file or have the legal right to process it using this Service
• The file does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights, including copyrights, trademarks, or trade secrets
• The file does not contain malware, viruses, or malicious code
• Processing or distributing the file does not violate any applicable law or regulation
• You have obtained all necessary consents if the file contains personal data of third parties

4.3 Limited Processing Licence

By uploading a file, you grant PDF Size Reducer a temporary, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to process your file solely for the purpose of delivering the requested output to you. This licence terminates automatically upon deletion of your files from our servers (see our Privacy Policy for deletion timelines).

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use PDF Size Reducer for any unlawful, harmful, or abusive purpose. Specifically, you must not:

• Upload files that contain child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any exploitative content involving minors
• Upload files that contain or constitute defamatory, harassing, threatening, or hateful content
• Upload files containing malware, viruses, Trojans, ransomware, or any other malicious code
• Use the Service to process files containing classified government information without authorisation
• Use the Service to infringe upon any third-party intellectual property rights
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, servers, or other users' files
• Use automated bots, scripts, or crawlers to access the Service at a volume that degrades performance for other users
• Scrape, mirror, or republish any part of PDF Size Reducer without our express written permission
• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable local, national, or international law or regulation

6. Intellectual Property

The PDF Size Reducer name, logo, website design, user interface, source code, and all content created by us (excluding Your Content) are the exclusive intellectual property of PDF Size Reducer Technologies and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable intellectual property laws.

6.2 Restricted Use

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, reverse engineer, or create derivative works of any part of the Service or its underlying technology without our express written consent.

6.3 Feedback

If you provide us with feedback, suggestions, or ideas regarding the Service ("Feedback"), you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use and incorporate that Feedback into our products and services without any obligation to compensate you.

7. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR UNINTERRUPTED SERVICE.

We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, that defects will be corrected, that the Service is free of viruses or harmful components, or that the output files will meet your specific requirements or expectations.

You are solely responsible for maintaining adequate backups of your original documents. PDF Size Reducer is not responsible for any data loss resulting from use of the Service.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, PDF SIZE REDUCER AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR LOSS OF BUSINESS, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE, SHALL NOT EXCEED €100 (ONE HUNDRED EUROS).

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless PDF Size Reducer Technologies and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Service; (b) Your Content; (c) your violation of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any third-party rights.

10. Termination

Because PDF Size Reducer does not require account registration, there is no formal account to suspend. However, we reserve the right to block access to the Service — by IP address or other technical means — if we determine, in our sole discretion, that your use violates these Terms or poses a risk to other users or our systems.

Upon termination of your access, all licences granted to you under these Terms immediately terminate. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including but not limited to Sections 6, 7, 8, and 9.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the European Union and the laws of the jurisdiction in which PDF Size Reducer Technologies is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall first be subject to good-faith negotiation between the parties. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration under the rules of a mutually agreed arbitration body.

12. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be announced via a prominent notice on the website. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
